THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

im thinking it will help increase the chance of survivability at a 1 time cost

Oh it does, but it doesn't prevent it entirely. Interestingly we've had more broken in the Griffin, Otterbox, & Gumdrop cases than we have with those in slim Skech style cases. I'm not sure if people are more gentle with them seeing as they are much more open or what.
I'm waiting for demo Lifeproof nuud and fre cases to arrive to try those.

Interesting. He's wrong about the transfer case adapter, they made a T-18/D18 adapter. He didn't have to put the guts in a D20.

Pretty sure the Dana 18 has the same bolt pattern as a dana 20, and there is no adapter between the tranny and transfer case for a t-18 to 20. I'm willing to bet he did it for the lower gearing since he's running a centered diff rear axle anyway and wouldn't want the D18 offset. If you did need need to use an adapter I would have done the same thing though.

I can guarantee that there was an adapter, I had a T-18/D18 in my 71 CJ-5. I don't recall why. Length of output shaft?

I'll steal first this morning. Waiting in a park and ride to go to a job in Weston Ma. House already has $1.3m in their Hvac and ice melt driveway in a year. Still another 8 months left on the project.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anyone have any good recommendations of rattle can clear coats?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That just reminded me I'm out of hammered black.

I think 90% of my MJ and a lot of shit I've added to my truck are painted with that. I go through it fast .

Have to finally clean up our yard tomorrow. It's a mess.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Any of you MJ Wizards want to take a look at my post in MJ Tech and Discussion forum? It could possibly be an XJ issue as well.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think I might buy another cheap/parts XJ. The jeep dealer across from my garage has a 97+ one that has been sitting out back in their lot for awhile. Might see if I can pick it up for cheap and steal some parts off it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Gonna pick up some steel tonight to fix the hole in my floor so I can get my fuel cell back in. If I was less lazy I could have this turd back together this weekend
