A friend of mine has a 5spd non turbo IDI for sale for $1500 actually, you could probably part it out and make your money back, then keep the trans stuff and driveshaft. I tagged you on facebook

I'm taking an intro to robotics right now.

Which is why you let the VC gaskets leak, dumbass. Worked for me in all of my Jeeps thus far.

I hate doing VC gaskets in the jeep, but it was easy enough while the engine was out and on a stand a month or so ago, so I did it. Along with a new oil pan gasket, RMS, and OFA o-rings. The distributor and front main seal weren't leaking.

It's weird having a jeep that doesn't leak oil. Of course, it reacted like a ferret that's been given a bath and immediately sprung a power steering fluid leak to make up for it.

About as often as I replace valve cover gaskets on 4.0s, which is to say, once in the last ten years.

My cousins had ferrets years ago, they are really musky smelling animals and if you wash them, they go into musk production hyperdrive to make up for it.
