Wow you guys get sensitive quick huh? My point is that it's not $150 now, it's $60. You have 2 MONTHS to preregister, it's not like they gave you 2 weeks. I was just ribbing you guys about not contributing to UJ, but I rarely, if ever, see you on a run anymore, let alone a meeting or a trail cut, and for some of you your UJ membership is the only reason you can attend an NEA event, so don't just bitch here, get on the NEA site or go to a meeting and thow your opinion out there, otherwise plan ahead, pay the $60 now and be done with it. I appreciate the planning and work that you guys do for the NAC events, they're always well put together and they run smoothly.

Also Bill, I'll get shitfaced drunk when and where I want, don't like it? Don't hang out with me, I certainly don't go running to spend time with you.

You really need to get over yourself.

No one cares about you getting shitfaced drunk. I find it hilarious, and no one told you to shut up at Rocktoberfest did they?

For NACfest, it's really about providing the rest of the NAC with a reasonable campground to stay at (and not getting us kicked out) when there isn't another one available within driving distance of RC.

What I find humorous is I have NEVER told Pat to do anything, yet he blames me for everything.
Heck, I wasn't even at the event he got told to settle down and went to the ER.

i want to see a drunk bill i think you are the only one in the nac group that i have yet to see have a fun drunk event from camping that you regret and everyone else thinks its the best thing ever, hell even your doppelganger has done it

I mentioned getting shitfaced because Bill just told me to help out instead of getting drunk, sorry I had something to say when he called me out.

I'm not acting like I'm on some ****ing throne because I went to a meeting, I was busting your balls and you guys got butthurt. There's a lot more that Billy, Sheep, myself and others do than go to one meeting to keep UJ going just so some of you can have your 3rd wheeling trip of the year, but none of us are complaining about it, heaven forbid I make one comment questioning the NAC hierarchy. Sorry to hurt your feelings, but it must have struck a cord for you guys to jump on me and tell me to get over myself. I've said my peace, no need for me to say anymore.

I'm glad my membership is appreciated Pat. Gives me warm fuzzies deep down to contribute to UJ, even when my Jeep isn't drive-able and hasn't been for a little while. I thought I was contributing to keeping UJ alive like it said in the e-mail requesting me to re-up.

I think there's a line where busting balls turns into talking shit and in my mind you crossed it.

The $150 is for people who show up last minute and expect to wheel and eat dinner and get a t shirt. If you just sit at the camp ground and hang out and give Bob and liza a few bucks nobody will give a shit. A lot of what I'm reading here is uninformed speculation. I'd direct some of those questions to them, especially if you don't plan on taking advantage of any of the fall crawl benefits

The $150 is stated as Passengers only according to the thread on the NEA forum. That's why I assumed it would be that for Chris and others.

I read $150 as passenger / walker and after August whatever no more driver signups.

Either way, it sounds like we all need to get outside and have a burger and beer (or some of that Chinese buffet that Sheep has). So much hostility.

That's what I read. I showed up in the early afternoon Saturday, paid something like 60 bucks and walked around for a day and a half. I was cool with that. I don't even remember having dinner. But I sure won't swing the $150 to do the same thing.

I doubt I'll be in the area later this year anyway, but I would still like to make the occasional trip up here to hang out and wheel. This just crosses fall crawl off the list. (Not that I was super involved with it anyway)

Yup they are just threaded into factory nutserts.

Half the time they break off and you just drill/tap to 7/16-14 or whatever the next size up is.

What this guy said. IIRC Bradley retapped to 1/2-13, they're some dumb metric size from the factory, I'd probably go 7/16-14 because I can buy bolts by the pound 2 miles away for that size.
