Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

grill marked? you mean make some lines on them with a sharpie?

I think that's what they did on the burgers my high school cafeteria served.

Yeah, tomorrow is "local" day and we go through so fast that we gotta prep way ahead of time

They didn't cook the burgers fully at my High school. In fact, I received a "work detail" because I hummed one back through the kitchen window after they refused to give me a refund for the cold bloody h-burg they sold me. Also a cold bloody h-burg is probably a nickname for a fillltthhyyy sex act.

I've seen my high school cafeteria make the chicken nuggets.
It was water mixed with powder and poured into molds.
I never ate a school lunch ever again after that.

I'm loving the extra hour of day light! Steering is going to be mocked up soon and the axle is in.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

After this weekend I should be done with garage organization for a while until I go to install lights/paint.

I need to drag my uncle's car up to my place at some point too. Need to get that done ideally before May. Shouldn't be too bad.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i want to thank the truck drive that wanted to try sky driving when getting on 95S at the rt20 intersection because a) you made everyone late for work and b) you gave me something cool to look at while i was creeping along at 2 mph

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't miss that commute one bit.
eh i don't mind it but i wouldn't mind a better commute. i like to play games while stuck in traffic like spot the expired registrations then point and laugh at the drivers or through on some techno and have a rave in the truck

also just want to point out i received instructions how to instruction on installing office 2010 in the form of a word document

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Apparently the most difficult part of my front axle build is finding someone who makes a 30-spline shaft that takes an 806x u-joint.

Lots of people make stub shafts that do that, but no inners, because that never existed anywhere.

Problem with cut & respline is the heat-treat after the fact tends to distort the yokes - the u-joint bores are typically finished after heat treat to make sure all the dimensions stay concentric with the splines. (per Branik)

Irritating. So 760x at the wheel and 30-spline stubs, or 44-size RCV all the way around.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm pretty sure Dodge used front D60 30-spline shafts from the factory on 2nd gen 3/4 tons?

Not exactly sure which years, but I know I've read about it.

Also not sure if that helps you since you would only get the short side from it (pass side is always CAD except 02 which I believe is 32 spline).
