THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If someone wanted the shell they can have it for cheap money. I'd love to see it live on.

But like I said, I just can't bring myself to work around shit anymore. I have 0 motivation to do the rear 4 link on the thing.

There's plenty of shit on it that I'd want to redo anyway.

Dead serious man. Nicole and I are looking around to being in a house by next winter, so I could actually have a place to build at my pace. One of her "must haves" is a place for me to build something cool with 3 pedals. I love that girl.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Why would you be a loser?
Let's see:

- I'm not parting it out to buy a Honda.
- I'm not parting it out to buy a VW.
- I'm not selling it to buy a 1/2ton Chevy.
- I'm not selling it to rebuild my Duramax.
- I'm not not putting it back together and don't drive a Grand Am.
- I'm not parting it out to buy a Land Rover.
- I'm not planning on parting it to build a buggy.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sweet deal. What are your plans?
simplest plans would be keeping very little unibody and adding a on of tube, similar to sean or chucks old buggies, but i fell im better off starting from scratch, either keeping my full drivetrain or adding a 360/4500 combo to the mix. even with the 3x3 angle my unibody rails hate life

Awesome.

Yeah we could definitely work something out. Like I said I would love to see someone keep it going.

 I think you hit everyone in that list.

Awesome. Yeah that's the route I'm at now. I want to chop mine off from the cab back and redo some of it, but at that point I might as well start fresh.

I'll probably end up copying some of Tim@LIIs chassis and that Toyminator WERock build on Pirate. I like how simple both of their chassis lines are.

My piece of shit is still sitting in the woods with two flat tires and no inspection sticker, when we wheelin

Edit: colin I have an mj cab-back from billy if you want to use it to put a roof and back on the cockpit of your buggy. Yours for what I paid for it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i also got the real stupid idea of picking up a 8.0 truck engine, cuz 8 cyl aint enough. good idea or bad idea?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Honestly, and I hate to say it cause I'm a Mopar guy  I'd just buy a 5.3 or 6.0.

Unless you have the cash for a 5.7 Hemi.

It's hard to argue the cheap power you can get from a junkyard LS for a weekend wheeler.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Rob stop stealing my dreams. I bet you could find a clapped out v10 5spd dodge to part out for short money though.

I think I got them in order too.
I left Chris off the list since he'll never get that jalopy running for this summer anyway...
God now I really do need to part mine out. I built a monster to wheel with other monsters. Now their all dead.
Kinda how I'm feeling.

Watch for the sale thread later!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Mine will just be a monster made of tube instead of out of an MJ :dunno:

Not like I know how to build a buggy so it's going to be another learning project

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

This is all giving me second thoughts about the stack of 60s sitting in my yard. Dammit guys.

At least bradley is nearby and just finished his rig, that means he should be parting it out around the time I finish mine. Wait, shit.
