THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Finally at home, in my recliner, having a beer. What a friggin trip that was.

(with a road trip to Harrisburg today, to drop the LII rig off at the Motorama show, just because I've been gone this long, why not a little more)

The hotel stay in Houston was epic. United puts me up in a $50/night 'Americas Best Value Inn & Suites', in a room with a kitchen furnished in 1980's luxuries, and a connecting door to a room occupied by a Craigslist prostitute who proceeds to turn a significant amount of business for an otherwise boring Thursday night.

If you're curious, a 15-minute-or-less 'quickie' costs $60, only includes one position, and if you don't finish in that time frame you're beat and you get the pimp called on you if you try to rub one out in the meanwhile.

Not firsthand experience. Layin that out there. But I'll post the full story when I feel like typing. For now I'm just happy to be home...except for the fact that I stripped the splines on the wiper motor in my Dodge so it has no wipers currently, and it's supposed to snow overnight then turn to rain.

Think I'm just gonna sleep all day and not give a shit.

Whats it gonna be next week?

Land rover discovery?

Although I love those things, ans so does Tarah oddly enough, I could never get into that kind of money pit right now.

A 96-02 4runner is every bit as reliable as a XJ with an upside they are usually in much better shape that a XJ of similar mileage. If anyone has any other suggestions to a reliable 4wd I can get for under $4k I'm all ears. I'm still open to another cherocar, but I know it'll be much harder to resist the urge to add things to it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

for anyone actively posting in this thread, an XJ is probably the most practical inexpensive vehicle to own and maintain. Its just that we all want to make them awesomeR.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh ya I know. I just kinda want something different. The problem with most cheap XJs is that they're beat up woods machines.

Buy a nice 00-01 with a bad head for cheap, BOOM cheap clean Jeep you can fix up in a weekend.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

OMG like no ones ever worked on a jeep without a garage

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

how bad is the damage on the MJ?
x2, let's get to the important stuff.

If he's doing demo, can I snag some of the wood? I've got a project in mind for it.

(cue the dick jokes about me wanting Dan's Dad's wood)
