Which is less than a $40 difference on a 400-mile trip (assuming the new pile gets over 17 MPG consistently).

People are flaky. Until you have cash in hand I wouldn't bet the farm just yet.

there wont be a next one. i dont see myself building another XJ. i have a pretty steady line of people interested in the big parts, the chassis is sold, and the smaller stuff i can sit on for a few weeks.

i actually would rather have a new camera. and fix my bike. i miss both of those things.. i was too busy all last summer using every weekend to work on the jeep bc where i live i dont have the place to do anything serious to it.
