THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nicest part of the MJ by far.

That windshield got me a sticker and then cracked while you were riding shotgun at NACFest 2012. Fortunately at that point my insurance would cover it, since I had a valid sticker in recent history.

LOL, a gay joke from Patch! Nice to see he's coming up with new material.

What's gay about watching cops with your buddy and beating off? Just two dudes hanging out doing what has to be done. Maybe you're just a homophobe William, you ever think of that? HUH? You ever turn the finger around at yourself you goddamn BIGOT??

installing my 4th xj motor today this time on a friends jeep. The feeling of relief when it finally runs is seriously the best feeling no matter how many time you do it.

lol the second one i ever did was side job from my work. He had purchased a yj motor and needed it put in his 98 xj.....no problem ill just use all his accessories and water pump and shit.....stupid me forgot about the oil filter on the yj sticks straight out....

anyway i get the motor all in the truck ready to go....go to install the brand new oil filter. It doesnt fit between the frame rail and the block. i forgot about that stupid 90 degree bracket. had to lift the whole show back up what a bitch.

3rd time and this last time i remembered

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've lost count of the number of times I've either done a 4.0 swap or been involved in one... has gone perfectly for me every time I've done it myself, aside from the one with the custom wiring harness I did for an 87 YJ, that one threw me for a loop due to the starter solenoid being powered off the heated rear defrost fuse (with no indication of that on the fusebox lid legend) so I couldn't get it to crank by itself. Fired right up with the fuel/asd relays bypassed and worked perfectly from the key once I put the defrost fuse back in, though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I dunno what they run but my insurance company will freak out if I ask them to order the later style rubber gasket instead because OMG THAT TOTALLY WON'T FIT!!!!1 so probably just paying cash to avoid arguing with them over it.

I plan on doing the same thing, my windshield "acquired" a chip that I'm currently cultivating into a non fixable crack. So I'm curious if they'd be willing to do that newer style gasket. Might be better off finding out what contractor the insurance company is going to use and then call and ask those guys.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My father cant get glass on his own anymore since his company merged and got rid of most of the shops.

He said just shop around for the cheapest price and best warranty. His company has a lifetime warranty.
