Because there are walls dividing two of them now! The other is rather well connected to the living room but won't be soon.

I need to fix the house up ASAP, tired of living like this (as if I wasn't already) and making some changes in my life.

Adam, I'm not talking prebuilt home automation stuff. If I do it, I'll be rolling it myself, right down to designing my own PCBs. I've already got how I can do it planned out

edit: and I just figured out how I can use two SPDT relays to replace a 3 way switch giving all four options - force-on, force-off, toggle, or normal. Easy.

Does this mean you're finally going to sell Patch the blue MJ?
