I don't sell em anymore... I sold one to xbobj for a little under what I had into it including the pile of swap parts I had on hand, and one to someone else (I forget who) for exactly what I had into it just to get rid of the damn thing. The one going to Stefan is his free in exchange for the free locker he gave me, and I feel I sorta got the better end of the deal on that one.

The yard up here charges me 100 or 130 for them depending on the day. If you're in the area during junkyard hours let me know and we can pull one in like 20 minutes.

Every time i go to harbor freight it feels like christmas

Those taps scare me more than the grinder. Ever broken a tap? I would recommend only use those for chasing, not cutting fresh threads.

I've used HF taps without an issue.

If you actually know how to tap threads, you'll be fine.

I don't know why the hell you would ever use an HF tap. Go to a used tool shop, there is one in Worcester, they have taps for a dollar each in a giant bin. I even sorted most of it last time I was there.

The best HF tap I have ever used was still tougher to cut with and made shittier threads than the most used-up tap I've paid $1 for at that store. I wouldn't even use them to chase threads.

Also, I just fixed 80% of the electrical issues that have been plaguing my cherokee for months. Found a 1/2" diameter hole charred into the harness connectors for the right taillight assembly and dome light + soundbar, apparently it had been arcing for a while.

Getting a broken tap out SUCKS. I think Snap-On, Matxo etc make a special tool to remove them, but I bet it still isn't fun.

I've been using a chinese set of taps cheaper than the harbor freight set for like 5 years.
