THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thanks. They took all precautions. When I came to I was face down in the snow with ski patrol already there, and one of the guys checked my spine. When he got down by my shouldblades, I felt pain so they weren't chancing it. Thankfully I could move all my extremities right then, but I was flipped, neck brace, supine boarded and skied down to a waiting ambulance and each hand off my back was discussed. Nice 1 hour ride to the hospital strapped to a board.

By the end of my hospital visit, I was drugged out of my mind Friday night.

And as far as the picture of me on the board goes, my friends were all around me as I was getting loaded, some of them were nurses and ER techs so they actually helped load me on the board. Once I was on, I may have asked the ones who weren't helping load to take a picture or two of me... because how often are you strapped to a stretcher?

its a real pita to do it on my truck, gotta pull the battery, air filter then unbolt the parker lights, then you have acsess to the screws, when i was putting everything together it was getting cold and raining so i was like **** it. Anyways gonna mess with it tomorow when i install the hids.

(its like 20 ft away have the center of the beam 2" lower then the headlight right? or some shit like that)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

25' and low beam should be just under the middle of the headlights height

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just make sure there isn't a ton of shit in the bed that would make your measurement off

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You could use a level on your hood to check but an ass down adjustment will point your headlights more downer than they should be

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

its gonna have the sand in till winters over ill re adjust when it comes out

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just set em for UFO spotting.

It's kinda strange realizing I would sign up for a Rausch Creek trail ride before I'd sign up for one anywhere in Mass right now simply because I can make it over the border into CT without getting an inspection ticket, while I'm guaranteed to get one if I go anywhere northeast/northwest of here in MA. And everything in MA is either northwest or northeast of me.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

funny seeing all these high school kids on the the trading post arguing about diesels, none of them have a ****ing clue what there talking about

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have no problems with any of my Ryobi stuff.. and their 1/2" impact is awesome. Also just got some 4a/h batteries for them.

just a heads up to every one Milwaukee ryobi and ridged are made/owned by the same chinese company its HHI or IIH or something like that. ridged is technically a subsidiary but what ever **** you.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yea, off by a tooth... Whatever it's done lol. I flushed my heater core and have heat and then found this

(lame cage pic removed)

So no jumping til I add some more tube

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see what's wrong in this pic? Look like some eh welds and a slugged tube over the foot plate? Is something tearing/giving out?

Thought it was the master cylinder that was gone in my truck but I pulled it into the garage to double check.

All three lines coming from the ABS pump were ready to disintegrate. One of them had a pinhole in it that luckily didn't blow out.

Bought a roll of nickel copper stuff and did those three, the two from the master to the prop, and the one crossing under the motor to the pass side. Gonna go pick up front hoses as well since I'm already bleeding a bunch of air out.

If that wasn't a COMPLETE cluster**** then I don't know what is.

Went to bleed the whole system again after doing all the front hardlines AND soft lines (just because I was already doing it all). Rob had stopped by to check out our house and was helping me out as well. All of a sudden the pedal went to the floor.

The junction on the frame rail by the driver's front tire (connects to the line going to the rear of the truck) was loose. Tightened that, still goes to the floor. Nothing I had replaced was leaking, go to the rear, and the rear hose from frame to axle had literally blown off the fitting . Never seen that happen.

Replaced that hose, however one of the hard lines on the axle twisted off since I couldn't get it to spin freely from the fitting. Apparently the rear hoses on like 01.5 to 02 Dodge 2500s is a special hose or some BS. Couldn't get that brake line anywhere yesterday, so I just spliced in a union. Brakes feel great now.

I'm just going to find a cheap hose that fits the rear calipers and use that since these are some special BS hoses.

The slugged part is fine. The plate is separating from the wheel well. I thought it would be strong enough bc I have tube supporting it from the side... Guess not. I can easily toss a piece of tube from the top of where the shock mounts to the d pillar, just not anytime this week.
