THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

used bendtech pro for the halo and roof bars on my jeep, it helps but somtimes what looks good on the program dosnt come out as good after you get things in place.

Should have used blendtec. Would have come out way cooler. Plus it would keep all the stuff off your roof. And make sweet milkshakes.

To those that have made lots of parts for your various vehicles, if you had access to and were proficient with 3D modelling (solidworks, pro e, etc) would you have used it? By lots of parts I mean crossmembers, bumpers, winch mounts, cages, etc.

I use solidworks for that kind of stuff. I can't imagine being able to draw something quicker by hand. I take a few measurements, drop pictures into the part and that way I just kind of figure all the other dimensions are close as they match up to the pictures. That way it's fast and you see what it looks like on it.

-6* here.

Coal stove heatin' like a champ.

Truck is plugged in, we'll see how it likes life tomorrow. I don't remember seeing negative temps on it in the 6+ years I've owned it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Apparently my space heater in the bathroom decided I don't need a shower this morning, everything's frozen solid :banghead:

Really hope nothing cracked. Dammit. Worked fine for 2 winters and now it decides to bail out.

Have the gimp inches basement rub the pipes to thaw them

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Truck said -14 this morning when I got in to warm it up and head to work. Made noises I have never heard a Hemi Ram make before...

Lots of gelled up/frozen trucks at work today, gunna be a long saturday.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Dodge had a rough time starting this morning. I forgot to plug it in last night.

Letting it warm up now. At least I know if I'm somewhere with no power and its this cold out I can start it lol.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Haven't driven my VW since Wednesday... Sort of expecting to have to jump it today.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

had truck plugged in for 3 hours, fired up no issu, 5 seconds later it died, cranked for like 10 seconds ran for 5 seconds died again, cranked again for 10 seconds and now its running. sounds like possible gelling issues?
