I have to hack out that giant X crossmember thing in the rear of my MJ so I can lower the fuel cell a few inches. Just going to make a frame for it out of 1.5 x .120 box tube.

Hopefully knock that out in time for Rocktoberfest. I'll just throw the tailgate on to half-ass protect it and then tube it when I get back.

Meh. This whole thing is a giant learning experience for me.

Before this thing I didn't even know how to weld.

I would have built a tube chassis and realized all the things I didn't like about it afterwards anyway and just built another one.

I don't see it as a waste at all. I still enjoy the hell out of it.

Just dropped $150 on the Ranger. That's on top of the $100 I already spent. That's the most money I've spent on a car in like 5 years. I figured out why the ranger had no balls this weekend too. Apparently the throttle cables stretch and you just have to slap zip ties on it and it's like adding 27 turbo chargers to your engine.

I give it 3 stars. No movie ever has 100% action, crank was close. If you had a movie that was 100% action I'd give it 4 stars. If it was 100% action while still getting a story across 4.5 stars. 100% action with story and poppin a couple boobs in there 5 stars. 100% action, sick story, boobs, comedy: that would be like six stars I guess.

Needless to say if there was a 6 star movie in existence, jackie chan would be in it.
