THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hey when you guys went out west did you do lockhart basin or Pritchett Canyon?

Im trying to figure out what trails I want to run. so far I think I want to do hells revenge and moab rim.

Id love to try Pritchett Canyon but they make it sound really hard and Im not sure I want to totally wreck the jeep. if it was offered on the last day then Id be down but its only offered on the first 3.

We didn't do those. But to be honest nothing in Moab was too hard, the worst part was Moab rim when I got stuck taking a hard line and Sam had to essentially drive over me to get around me and yank me over a hump. For sure do Moab rim and hells revenge... Don't waste your time on easy/moderate stuff... Fins and things was a joke but cool to try bc it's good trail to get used to the slick rock on.

I walked over tip over challenge and was bummed when I knew I did it bc I thought it would be more of a, well, challenge. I got denied at the very top of potato salad and would have made it no problem with a front locker, Sam did it twice.

Hells revenge and moab rim are 2 must do trails. Top of the world trail was a little annoying and nothing challenging, but the view was worth it. Id run that one too if given the option. There's so many other trails to run yet not enough time...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Next time. I'm out there I wanna play at area bfe and have someone who knows what they are doing lead through the golden spike trail.

Hells revenge is a pretty easy trail with some cool obstacles that will keep anyone busy. Hot tubs and escalator are fun.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yea i watched a couple other videos the same guy has posted - no respect for any traffic laws or other people - riding on sidewalks though intersections, blocking traffic so their posse can roll on though, cutting cars off left and right. No wonder street bikes have a bad rap thanks to guys like that

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

this is ****ing ridiculous. I'd run over them too if they put my wife and child in danger

I wonder what happened before that bike stopped in front of the guy, it must have been provoked by something. Then again those guys looked like they were riding like a bunch of assholes, so I have a hard time believing the guy in the SUV started it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

2.5" top coat over 4" of RCA stone...a little over $8k including the original grading (it was going to be closer to $10k but I did a bunch of the initial site work myself, and they didn't have to haul anything away).

3900 square feet  plus the 16x16 concrete pad. Now of course I can only sit and look at it for the next two days. :(

Nice!
Yeah, I just a couple quotes this past weekend on mine. Even doing only part of my upper driveway area I am at 11,050 sq ft. Needless to save I ain't doing a topcoat. One guy gave us what seems to be a good price on millings with chips, aka 3/8" stone, mixed in (to give it that grayish look to try to deters from all the black) but we'll still have to wait to spring for it funding wise.

Not sure why you need all that shit. You have a tractor just buy some chain link fence and railroad ties and grade it here and there

You guys pay for millings? Alot of times you can score free millings from road projects in the area, ESP if the project is far from there storage yard... Saves them on fuel cost

More along the lines of paying someone to roll it and spray the calcium chloride.
