I think I'm gonna end up building my own fuel cell for the MJ. Span bedside to bedside, be about the same height I have now, and try to get it to hold 30 gallons.

Probably use .125" 5052 and weld some baffling inside. I want to keep my intank pump too. I'll try a different mounting setup this time. Maybe 2 to 3 straps instead of the threaded rod at each corner.

wtf is wrong with people. I sent a message to a guy selling some 5150 shocks on friday asking him to get a shipping quote. Didn't hear back from him since then, so i sent him a message asking if he'd had time to weigh them.

This was his response:

Same. Even when broke and with one of my neighbors (who is actually a welfare cheat - not even kidding. he's on every goddamn program he can find, as whitetrash as they come) trying to get me to sign up for food stamps I would rather do side work and bust my ass than accept public money. It just doesn't feel right.

not really. No. Sorry, I just used "Plain Jane" concrete sealer when mine was fresh and that seemed to stop oil penetration fine.

Yeah, but Ken you are not a scumbag.
Now I knowsome people legitimately need the help, I can get that. My issue with the system if those that show no effort to get off of it or abuse the system to get on it when they don't need it.
The biggest crock of crap is they need to do is show that they applied for a position, somewhere, anywhere. Great so apply to 10 jobs a week online takes all of 30min and then sit around and collect the rest. Messed up.
When my openings for tech help was up I got hundreds of applicants from all over the country with all sorts of backgrounds. Really, you mean the line cook from Tennessee or the dental hygienist from New Mexico is really going to be interested in my part-time IT job?

The system got screwed up when it pays more to sit on the couch collecting welfare or unemployment than working normal hours making minimum wage.

I had a guy in his 40's come in to my shop asking if we were hiring. I said no, but if he wants he can fill out an application, he goes "oh no, I'm just gonna leave my name here and if the unemployment office calls you just tell them I was here trying to get a job"

If I was the government and I wanted to pay perfectly able bodied people to not have a job I'd make them pick up garbage on the street or something. I'd even pay them like $15 an hour. Imagine if all the unemployed were required to go out and pick up trash, sweep, and clean. America would be spotless.

Carmelo, I checked the ratio on that diff. It's a 2000 E350 with a triton V8, axle code 39, which unfortunately means 3.55s.

Anyone looking to run 60s and want an axle to build? Help me pull it Saturday (I'll be hitting the yard again anyways) and you can buy it from the yard for $140.
