Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If I wanted the mj to be 4x4 I have a donor xj siting next to it

Shaking was bad exhaust hanger

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I was thinking more along the lines of cheap ass 3/4 ton axles, not I wanna pay a ton for a project that will get billy'd
I swear to god if you cut that poor thing up before letting me haul it off for scrap price I will pee on all your tires and probably put zipties on your axleshafts.

How cheap is cheap? Because I bet if you're willing to help pull them, I can beat "cheap".

I am not too surprised about this... at least it wasn't the torque converter.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah I was gonna text you that you were right but didnt want to swell your head, I was thinking 250 for both axles cheap

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ill help pull but don't know when, almost baby time

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Try around 20 bucks more than that plus help pull them/wait till I find a set. Maybe even cheaper depending on where I find them. You'd have to be insane to pay 250 for one of those shitty front 60s and a boring drum brake rear 60.

I can't guarantee when I'll find them, but I'm sure I will. Hell I passed up a 4.10 geared LSD fullfloat D60-1SU recently (with drum brakes and spanked LSD clutches, sadly) because I was too lazy to pull it and drag it home, could have gotten it for $150. I'll have to head by that yard again and see if they still have it and if they're negotiable on price, it's at one of my secret stash yards.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I had no idea what axles it had, just knew it would be 60's, was gonna offer 200 for the set if they were good ones

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If you find a good set I could drive the mj up and leave at house o'fab for work

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

dude, your 31" 40% swampers are actually like 4% and thats being nice

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ross I forgot I still have your 7/8" drill bit too. I'll give you that and your taps back sometime this week.

Also I think I figured out why my trailer lights flicker. I have the lights grounded to the brackets they're mounted on, which would be fine if we didn't have a tilt trailer. Because of that, when I go driving down the road, the ground is intermittent since there isn't a solid connection between the tilt frame and main frame.

Gonna fix that and add submersible lights this week.

Also, Bill, if you read this, do you have a spanner wrench that would work on our double ended ram end caps? Need to take my ram apart this coming weekend and put some stops in it since I got my new high steer arm.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thinking about adding another piece of tube above me head just incase I land on a stump or pointy rock, thoughts?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just cover everything with 1/4" plate, it hasn't failed me or bradley yet

Also it looks like I'm speaking with the airplane company in woburn via phone Thursday... with another person involved... so my guess is we'll be discussing money. I might make fall crawl after all.
