yeah I didn't have any intention of staying with the 13 group. I'll probably just do my own thing like you me Scott and Colin last year anyway :laugh:

Don't think Scotty signed up yet, I'll be hanging out with him tonight though so I'll have him do it, and if he doesn't have $ I'll do it and have him pay me back

You could have had the doubler installed while waiting for the wiring harness.

If it is wiring, I am hitting the JY tomorrow and probably Saturday. If you want I can try to grab a whole donor harness, I bet I can build you a harness before they ship yours back.

Its more money than lazy. That and I wanna see what a cool engine with a shitty tranny feels like first. Might make me want to wait for an nv4500 to pop up before I bolt it all up.

and on top of all that, even if I get the doubler and motor working next week, I still have a truck that has ZERO armor and no cage lol.

Good luck waiting for an NV4500 to "pop up" for cheap.

The diesel guys hog them up like nothing. They're all at least $800+.

Also, you can wheel without armor/cage.

Nice, if things keep going the way theve been going this year you won't have the only chopped xj in our group, once the glass goes on the driver side the backs getting chopped

I got time. I don't wanna wheel anything tough without rocker protection or a cage. I really have a fear of what 5500 lbs of shit would do to my tin cab and roof.

$800 is a damn good deal for a 4500 if its in good working order. Most of the time I see them around 1500 used.

You're probably looking at just the 1.25" input/29 spline output ones Ross.

The 1.125" input/23 spline output NV4500s go for cheaper.

Tis true, I have no use for non-diesel versions. 2WD ones go for like half that price. I would like to score one for a 4bt/4500 drivetrain for a street machine someday.
