THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

gearwrench or gtfo

I've been less than impressed with my Gear-Wrenches, but my Craftsman ones have actually help up very well for ~4 years getting used almost everyday at work. Not sure about the price difference, but it's worth it IMO.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

We got 4" of rain fri/sat

Getting another 2" today thru tomorrow

I need a boat

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hopefully I get my correct shocks in this week.

I have Friday off, so I'll probably use that day to bang out the rest of the shock mounts/limit strap mounts/rear bumpstops.

And here I was thinking I wouldn't be rushing at the last minute to get ready for NACfest.

Which Craftsman do you have? I really like the reversible GW that I have, but I'm only a weekend hack.

They're both made by the same company. gearwrench and craftsman are owned by Apex tool, maybe there was a difference years ago, but not now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just got off the phone with Mike from Profender.

They don't have anymore 2.0s in stock (except for longer travel ones), but he offered to upgrade me to 2.5s out back for his cost.

Going that route so I'll have 2.5 12" travels all the way around. Mint.

Hopefully I get the correct ones this time. He DID check the shelf and pulled all 4 aside for me.

someone must be reading this thread and been ****ing with our orders in the past couple weeks

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

As long as they come in time  You going to the July 4th weekend at F&F?

For all the trouble you have gone through you should get the upgrade for the same price you already paid.

He gave them to me for his cost which I can understand.

If anything on this next order gets effed up, then shit will hit the fan.

So far they've been pretty helpful with everything and very responsive.

The ones I got look well made, but who knows. Only one way to find out.

Tell me about it...

not sure. I'll hopefully be buying a motor for the truck soon, and also ordering a clutch. I actually have the money for both now, so it depends on how long it takes to get it all taken care of. A friend of my father is gonna swap it for free in exchange for a toolbox worth about 10 grand  But it's just gonna be in his shop and he's gonna do it when he has downtime- won't be a 3 day turnaround. So if I get the truck back by then, I might be able to go. Not really sure yet. Still haven't done anything with the Jeep, probably just gonna bring it to Tim's this week and pay him to do the shit.

You can hang on to the plasma cutter for a bit longer. I probably won't have a chance to even pick up steel until this upcoming Monday and I'll be working everyday until then. I'll hopefully stop by turner and then admiral the same day and pick up some aluminum round stock too. Going to pick up a decent length of 2" to finally finish all the knobs.
