Pretty much, yeah. As back as far as I could get it and still keep a reasonable rear driveshaft angle. Wheelbase is only 102" so it's not a whole lot of room to work with.

Started the rear shock mounts over the weekend, the cardboard thing is a mockup of the fuel cell.

yea an 8.8 would be my axle of choice but I figured in our crown an 8.25 would be easer to come by.

how far are you from ross or pat or someone else whos trailering to nacfest? if you could throw it on their trailer I could swap it in at the camp ground lol. and Ill mail you a money order, cause I dont have checks, and I want to keep you off the grid so I wont paypal you.

on another note, got a quote on a set of rockers, $200 more then the sx's o well i kmow they kick ass maybee next thurs ill try to buy em, if there back ordered i selling the jeep , cant wheel on anything less then 42's again

like an hour or more from ross and an hour from pat. I'll let you know if I find one. Everyone goes within like 5 miles of my house on the way to PA since I'm so close to the 84/90 junction.

I realized today I forgot to tell my boss what days this month I wasn't gunna be around for NACfest. God, I love have a flexible schedule which allows me to do things like that.

i bought a POS jetski off my cousin for 400 bucks with a trailer. its a 1998 tigershark 770. im parting it out. already did the craigslist ad but getting a bunch of meatballs. would ebay be a decent way of selling some shit?

I am, just no idea when.

Now I want to make it to NACFest just to watch a campground 8.8 install :( damn complete lack of money.

I feel like I'm always rushing to get shit done in time for some dumb event.

Have to weld in the frame notches and plating tonight and start bending up rear shock hoops. Hopefully have all the new shock mounts/bracing done by tomorrow night. Thursday I'll just reassemble the throttle bodies and oil cooler/front end. Friday morning I might have to hack together some limit strap mounts up front and bumpstops for the rear.

And then probably make it down to PA in time to go to bed :laugh:
