Does it always read in exactly the same spot? iirc GM instrument panel motors are known for breaking and sticking in one spot, you can get them pretty cheap and solder new ones into the panel.

It looks like fuel and battery gauges are toast too.

fule and batt are bad. but no it starts cold and warms up to there. but the fuel and batt used to move around all randomly too. its just weird how all the guages are slowly dying one by one.

just had someone pick up my leaf springs. he has a YJ with stock axles, a 14" lift and 40's.

uh... did he have a listing on the trading post looking for a driver side axleshaft for his d30 a couple days ago?

Because... I traded him that axleshaft for a case of woodchuck. He told me it had 35s on it, not 40s (but how many YJs are there with 14" of lift?), and I said he would need bigger axles real soon. I recommended spicer ujoints, then got a call from autozone asking "hey dude what size ujoint did you say would fit?" because the parts counter monkey couldn't figure out how to find a ujoint and kept telling him it was a balljoint.

He also said he was driving around AND WHEELING on it with a blown axleshaft with the ujoint ears torn off.

I have no idea how people get that lucky, first time I ever blew one and kept moving after, my balljoints both came apart...

I hope you're kidding, or at least kept the axles. LOL

edit: Rob I don't know but the door frame rear vertical is a completely different shape 2dr to 4dr, I was gonna measure while BSing about making an extended cab MJ but then noticed the different shape and dropped it. There is a set of flame red 97 2dr doors already pulled off the jeep just sitting at sams right now though if you want them.
