THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thanks Bill :loveu: I'd do it right now while I have some down time at this job, but I don't have my PayPal stuff on hand nor do I like doing it while on my phone.

WTF?

1. What physical object do you need to use paypal?
2. What's different about doing it on yer phone vs a computer?

1. The password. My dad and I share the account and the passwords is at home.
2. I always print out a copy to keep a physical record.
3. I gotta make sure there's money in the account.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I take screenshots if I need a record. you can always print it later. you can check account balances from yo phone too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I sure as hell wouldn't be anywhere near there, that looks like a rather large sinkhole is going to open in the very near future.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ross do you still have any of that 3x whatever box tubing that I was gonna get off of you to make a front truss?

I'm thinking it would work well as a replacement piece where I notch out the frame for the rear shocks.

On that note, not sure how I want to do it yet either. I kind of want to do shock towers, but that's more of a pain in the ass. Shock hoops would be easier I guess.

I think I might bend up a U to weld off of the outer wheel well tube, then brace it back to the other tubework. That way I can avoid welding anything more to the frame. It's almost 1/8" thick, but I wouldn't feel right just welding tube right to it, and I'm too lazy at this point to plate any of it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have this mental image of Ross putting on librarian glasses and thumbing through a Rolodex to find his Paypal password. Where's it stored, somewhere between the cards for NAXJA and Pirate4x4?

In other news, what the hell?

monsterous whirlpool eats everything

I've seen that happen around here. Usually a river or stream floods to the level of a bridge or higher, and it kinda acts as a dam, but the water still has to find a way to the other side of the bridge, either going over the top, or making a whirlpool to go under it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So the UPS guy hated me yesterday because of my 92-pound shock package...today is the USPS guy's turn to be unhappy. I just got the CJ tailgate I ordered and the seller sent it via parcel post. For a guy who's used to carting around letters all day long, a 3' x 2' 30-pound box is annoying.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

$10 says he's standing on a dam with a pipe below that whirl pool.

Or other.

stubby wrench so you can twist the bastid in like a half turn in one sweep, and you leaning on a prybar pushing down on the top of the fitting. sometimes they just need a little pressure to get started

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's what I figured, just having a fun old time pushing down on the fitting an up on the hose, I have up because somehow the other end of the hose was wrapped around the lower control arm mount, and I've been drinking and its hot out

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I like to consider it just good genes

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have not done the tally yet and won't till to the morning. You've got about 8 hours to pre-reg for NACFest if you have not done so! Do it now! I'm taking it down in the AM.

Awesome! I thought I was too late when I did it last night

Make sure the old O-ring isn't stuck down in there.

After that, push the hose in firmly to seat the o-ring in its groove, then try screwing the fitting down.

He probably spawned from samples I left in my college bedding
