I was gonna pull that 5 speed pedal box for you but ran out of time at the JY today. If you want it, it'll probably be like 30-60 bucks depending on who is at the register. I think the hydraulics are the same 2.5 vs 4.0 so I'd grab the master/slave as a pair too...

Let me know if you need a hand or something with it, I MIGHT be going back there friday or saturday but not sure yet.

I think all the 4cyl/4speeds had 3.55s factory so they could actually reach highway speeds without taching out... but if billy says it's got 4.10s, I'm sure it does. I guess in the last 25 years anyone could have swapped anything into it.

The hardest part about the entire process would be getting them out of the XJ. The stainless set screws that hold them in place are stripped & seized in the cans and everything's probably buried in the dirt by now. I don't want money for them, with the amount you'd have to give me to actually take them out you could just buy new ones, but if someone wants to have a go at it...

I bet if you flipped it over on its side/lid you could get those out in 10 minutes with a sawzall and an angle grinder.

I could use some bumpstops, but I think Colin needs them more than me.

Depending on whether the interview I had Friday went (I THINK it went well) I might even have a job and money to go on random trips to PA/NJ again soon... and be able to actually pay various people what I owe them.

I'm hoping it went well, gonna miss having 4-5 days a week to do whatever the hell I want, but won't miss not having any money to do whatever the hell I want, either.

There are like 8 of them there as usual, I didn't really look at them much aside from eying their disc brakes because that's all I was looking for and they had just announced over the loudspeaker that the yard was closed. I managed to pull and purchase a set of ZJ discs before they actually finished closing.

Some asshole beat me to the LSD I was going to buy for the MJ (I guess that happens when you see one Saturday and expect it to still be there Wednesday) but I lucked out and found another one with good clutches, so I got that.

So within a few days I should be auto locked in the front and LSD in the rear. No more 3 wheeling for me.

I thought you had everything from the day I saw you at the JY? Or are you keeping that setup? I don't have time to head out there myself anytime soon, so don't worry about it. If you decide to sell that complete setup you pulled let me know, I'll take that.

Finally signed up for an EZ Pass tonight, figured it's about time considering I spend $100 a month on ****ing tolls just to get to my stupid job. That and it sucks stopping on the bike to dig money out of your pocket and look like an asshole.

I purposely don't have an ez pass. I have to stop my truck. This means I get to floor of when leaving and make cool bro noises and shoot bro smoke. I'm THAT guy.
