buddy of mine (mike from my town, you probably met him, 97+ xj white, 35's 44/60) was welding frame stiffeners and burned through to his carpet and torched his interior. Luckily he saved the jeep, but had to replace almost everything inside.

almost lit my jeep up doing that, i wasn't the one welding thankfully and saw the smoke and put it out quick... would have gotten ugly fast. RSD crew always keeps one on fire watch now when someone is welding around the cabin with a full interior.

I lit some type of seam sealer on fire when I was welding on the buckles for my window nets. It was behind the roof reinforcement right next to the driver's head.

I threw a bunch of gatorade at it.

Did you check the flexplate bolts and motor mounts?

Been super sick so haven't gone under it yet, all mounts look good though, I have the bd super mounts so doubt they are shot in two years

I went and melted the rubber in them when you werent looking.

also you should check for Mexican jumping beans in your oil. I could see that causing it to shake a bit.

Im betting on the flex plate mounts then.

As far as my jeep goes im super uberduper happy.

I need to trim but I can take a coil out fully flexed





Time to trim and bumstop lol.....

On a positive note when I changed my oil I still had about 5 qts so traced my fluid leak to power steering fitting

So I got that going for me

Ill try and tighten it when I get around to it, 2 years of seepage and its still not low on the stick

And my fire extinguisher was full but I wouldnt waste it on that.
