So I played at an open mic show last night...pretty good time, had fun, and it went well. I met this cute & cool girl that my drummer knows, apparently she's some kinda booking agent and is interested in helping us find some other places to play...we ended up just bullshitting for a while after the show was over and had a nice time.

Turns out she's 44. Eek. I would've guessed at least 10 years younger than that, easily. :laugh:

figured today is a good a day as any to update my resume and explore some options. current job is ok but im not sure they understand what money is and how much is appropriate...

doc diagnosed me with bronchitis... aint nobody got time fo dat. feeling better after a much needed long ass nap and some whatever meds he prescribed.

i feel 100x times better. some magic ****ing medicine i got. been coughing like a smoker all last week and had to go to the doc after feeling like i was gonna die last night.

Just watched some lady finish pumping diesel into a Prius "because the handle was green I thought it was eco"

No, I was not present when see started pumping fuel.

No, I was not present when see started pumping fuel.

I had a woman come into the shop today telling me her heat stopped working because she just got her oil changed and she thinks they forgot to put a new oil filter on.

I told her that is not related and If she wanted me to look at it she would have to make an appointment.

She told me "no thats ok, i'm just gonna bring it back to the dealer and make sure they changed my oil filter."

Ok lady.

lol the pump fit into the filler? i a woman pump diesel into her mercedes when the hurricane was going on... there was no blutec badge on it either.

Why wouldnt it? Not all diesel fillers are the large big truck versions. In fact, the normal size fillers are better then the big rig ones.
