Somehow I can't picture you with tattoo's. That being said, my GF is a recruiter and says they look for shit like that, and even if you're a good candidate it changes the way they look at you. She has a tattoo, and isn't opposed to them, but it's all about image and she's reluctant to send someone on an interview with crayola all over them, nah mean?



I got a letter in the mail Thursday, that I found yesterday, saying I had to be in court as a witness against that kid that stole my tools today at 10AM. They mailed it on Tuesday and expected me to be there tomorrow, which I think is ****ing ridiculous. Luckily I have a cool boss that doesn't mind me calling him at noon on Sunday to bang out for Monday. Hopefully this shitbag gets locked up for a while, or they at least let me kick him in the dickhole.

Does that mean that they actually caught him? Or do they hold the proceeding and then nail his ass to the wall once he turns up?

They grabbed him when he tried to sell another bunch of my tools in Hudson back in November, but I don't know if he's been locked up or out on bail or what since then. The letter is from the probation department of the Marlborough court, so I'm hoping that doesn't mean he's only getting probation and no jail time. I'll call you after and we can gossip.

i want one on the underside of my forearm. i have no idea what though. that being said, don't you work in a professional-ish environment and have to wear a long sleeve button down anyway? IMHO, if your job allows you to wear short sleeves and its not in an office, tatoos are probably fine (like the place i work now). if youre in an office, wear a long sleeve shirt. problem solved.

At the moment, I do, but button ups are not mandatory. My boss has both her arms tattooed in full sleeves. I wear jeans and whatever the hell I want as long as it's not too ratty. I never want a job I have to dress up for and I would never get anything that I couldn't cover up during an interview.
