well the power service/911 is already in there, so...

I kinda have half a mind to pump it all out of the tank and try some fresh fuel. I do think I'll take the fuel filter off and see if there's water. That's probably not a bad place to start.

Could you have gotten some crap in the filter or the filter housing when you changed out the adapter?

don't think so. I cleaned that stuff really good, and there wasn't anything "inside" it anyways...

It just seems way too coincidental that it happened right after you filled your tank.

Where's the lift pump in your truck? In the tank? I'd disconnect the hose and dump it into a tank. Then just jump the pump to get it all out.

Pump in some fresh fuel and whatever additive you want and see what happens.

Two things that make me chuckle at work, and this guy just did both of them:

- before I even said anything, he starts off the conversation with "I've got one of your gearboxes, and I think the input section just shit the bed."

- gives me an email address that was definitely created 15 years ago when Hotmail was new and people put all kinds of "cool" stuff in their user names. I'm surprised there wasn't a "6969" in it somewhere. :laugh:

It's the little things that get ya through the day...

Just got offered a new HVAC job paying better than my old company and they're starting me off with safety gear. This midget is pretty friggen happy today.
