THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

whatcha looking at? theres a couple miller snycowave 200/250's for sale and one or two licoln 175/185's floating around on CL. if I didmt just buy a truck, id be all over one.

I'm looking at grabbing the lincoln 175(non pro). It's right in my price range and it comes with torch, pedal, regulator, tungsten, filler and consumables. I like it better than the smaller millers. A dynasty 200 would be cool but pull more money. I contacted pretty much everyone craigslist and this guy bit, and his is ready to go. From all that I've read it's a great machine and will run off a 50 amp breaker just fine. I really don't think I'd need a 250 amp machine and don't feel like upgrading the breaker. For the price I'm getting it for I can resell it at little to no loss later on too. Especially since it's not a thousand pound machine.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the lincoln 175's are nice, thats what I learned on. im just a miller guy now, I love the way they weld and the options on them.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ya a bigger Miller inverter machine would be ideal but this is really nice for the price. A Miller would be twice as much, more features but I don't think I'll miss them.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I really have no idea as to what I'm doing when building jeeps. I just do shit that I think will be cool

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Need some lame ass 31's for my lame ass ZJ.

Thinking about MTR-K's, KM2's or Duratracs. Better off buying online or getting Town Fair/similar to price match? What say the NAC?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Is ANYONE interested in rebuilt transmissions CHEAP?

My uncle is trying to move some transmissions for cheap money. I posted this here before, but no one really responded.

He has 350s, 400s, 700R4s, 727s, C4s, C6s all pretty much stock rebuilds for cheap. I think some mustang stickshifts.

For reference my buddy is buying 3 2004Rs for $300. All fresh rebuilds by a guy who had been doing transmissions his whole life. He passed away over the summer and his brother is basically selling off all of his old stuff in storage (can't afford to pay the rent there for stuff he doesn't care about).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

the new t&t "budget" xj is the same thing as thier "low wagon" except with leaf springs and they realized they didn't have to cut up the body as much for 37's.

or so it seems.

lets go look for some 4500s or ZF6s. Otherwise, nope no interest :o

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

looks good, but $7200 worth of build? Seems high for what they did.
