which one? theres a small one today at brooklyn fair grounds. stafford speedway has a good one next sunday the 21st. then theres one at thompson speedway in the beginning of nov on saturday and sunday. ill be at both speeway swap meets, im going early morning to stafford since I gotta be back for the pats game at 4pm.

That's in my town, my buddy organizes it. Looks like the words spreading pretty well.

Guess what loosened up on my trip upstate this weekend in my jeep. Not the first time it happened, started making noise, went away, 40 mins later on a dirt road the wheel locked up. Got new bearings and repaired it on the trail and drove home. Ordering stage 8 locking nuts tonight.

I found an exhaust brake for sale for my truck. Really tempting but I know I should buy other things I actually need first. But on the other hand, I love hear cool sounds when I press a button while driving.

Those very same tires have done the exact same thing already before on a red 2dr 5spd jeep, yours wasnt the first

I found an exhaust brake for sale for my truck. Really tempting but I know I should buy other things I actually need first. But on the other hand, I love hear cool sounds when I press a button while driving.

Exhaust brake is easily a better upgrade than all those gay pump and chip mods. I use the exhaust brake on the tow truck all the time.

If you sheared the little nipples off the factory locknuts, yea that'll happen. I used to carry a spare set of wheel bearings with me after the first time i smoked a set.

I'm exhausted.

Hopefully I can knock out the wiring tonight, and then go over Gary's to build the air cleaner.

I honestly don't think I can do a Saturday trail run. I think it would have to be Sunday the 21st. If you guys don't want to reschedule, then I'll probably just hit up Eugenes or something.

Oh and I got an email about the rally race at Rausch being cancelled.

I'm not surprised. Granted you get a lot of race time, it was still a lot of money to put up.

yea yea. in all honesty, i'm lucky it happened on a dirt road at 15mph and my buddy in another jeep was able to run into town and the parts were in stock. fixed it, drove an hour back to the cabin, then drove 4 hours home the next day. i reused the old races bc they were okay, but the inner and outer bearings and races will be getting pulled, greased, put in a ziplock bags and be in the jeep at all times for spares and i'll be having all new stuff put in. the whole front end is coming apart to the knuckles to install those outer axle seals anyway. gonna nut and bolt the whole jeep, i took how well it's ran all summer for granted.
