Ordered new ball joints for my truck.

I think getting 70k miles out of $120 Spicer ball joints ain't bad.

Especially on a 3/4 ton truck that sees quite a bit of towing/salt.

Ordered new ball joints for my truck.

I think getting 70k miles out of $120 Spicer ball joints ain't bad.

Especially on a 3/4 ton truck that sees quite a bit of towing/salt.

I wish i remember what ball joints i got for my 44. they were available in standard duty or "hd" from napa ( i got the hd) and had blue boots. Lasted 3 jeeps, a shit ton of miles on shitty oval shaped tires, all sorts of beating the shit out of it, new england winters, a bent knuckle, a bushel of broken u joints and shafts, and a bent, trussed housing.

Pretty sure the NAPA HD ones are just Spicers.

At least from the posts I remember around here.

Like anything else drivetrain related, Spicer all the way.

Oh so the Garage Party got changed to Oct 20th.

I did plan on going wheeling that day with UJ at Swanzey.

Maybe I can make it a short trip or something.

i remember I asked for all 4 best and they offered me moog, spicer, or another brand i cant think of.

all of them had their standard duty or heavy duty versions.

Yeah I'm not sure what mine are. I didn't see another part number on their site for anything HD.

I've just finished it enough where it's just done enough to wheel.

I really want the fuel injection done before Rocktoberfest.

I really want a lower stance and bigger, rounder tires. But engine, drivetrain and armor must come first.
