Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I can't wait to get out of here today. I'll be glad to be done with my Monday.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just got off the phone with PSC. They're sending me the correct fittings now for the remote resi and a new fitting for the pump on the high pressure side. They said the difference between the pump they sent me and the pump I was supposed to get is a simple fix by just drilling out the threads on the pump body. Hopefully the stuff needed will be here by the end of the week, but I dont think Im gunna try to swap the pumps around before wheeling.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You can also just take the high-pressure fitting out of your stock pump and put it in the PSC one.

They mentioned that too, but I've already drilled mine out and played with it.

You too? Have you been talking with Angel? :moon:

It's coming, need a place to live first...
This summer/fall?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Good luck. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous too. It's a lot of pressure. If your old body is at all useful still, I say bring it. Having 2 bodies is super convenient, not that I'd know. Some sort of portrait lens (35 or 50mm f/1.8 or faster) and a fast telephoto seems ideal (70-200 f/2.8). Your 50D has such a better image sensor than mine, but you might still need an aux flash if it's indoors or really really sunny.

I don't know how much experience taking pictures of people you have, but I have found that taking more pictures than you think is reasonable is a good strategy. Someone is always blinking, walking into the frame, not paying attention, etc.

Yea, I'm gonna have my 60D, and I'll prob rent a 35mm prime. I'll have my 50 f/1.8 and 28-135 f/3.5. The tele isn't that fast but the body is. I'll have my Sunpak flash or borrow my friend's (who's shooting video for the wedding) 580ex

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Looks like I'm out for this weekend unfortunately. The Jeep needs some work before it's truly wheelable, and I don't have time between now and then. I'm planning to get the stiffeners/sliders/skids done instead so I'll be ready for NACfest.
