THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Its a SYE shaft with u bolts on the rear. I never really started having problems until I swapped in the 4.10 axle. Can you measure the yoke on my old 8.25 for me?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My buddy at work with a '92 YJ asked me to take a look at it today. He said he was having a problem with the alternator, he just replaced it this morning and it still wasn't charging after he replaced it.

So I went out, did a quick loko over, opened the PDC and found this.

That would do it. We had an infinity at work one time that wouldnt run. We replaced some parts made it run but because of fly by wire it just idled, nothing more. I think we put a relay box in it, the fuse block, then finally the whole computer.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'll measure it tomorrow if I remember.

Colin and Sam, you've been one-upped... I hope to see a rebuttal...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Niiiice. LBZ or LB7 (or whatever the version is just before the lbz)?

I'm going to look at a dually 12v hopefully tomorrow or this week. Its a little more truck then I want but the price is right.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So Ken posted a picture of someone else being cool.
Mark posted a picture of himself changing a fuse.
Sheep posted a bad ass new truck he got.

Conclusion- Sheep has posted the best picture.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Lly so the one in the middle with out the injector problems

 bitchin'. So its like an 05 then? Allison auto or ZF manual? RCLB duramaxs are sweet, Id love one but they're outta my price range.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Come on Ross, you can't tell by the hood/grill and the mirrors? :moon:

I'd stay away from a dually unless you have to have it. Having to stop at weight stations, extra state fees, etc, etc. Not worth it unless you need it.

Some dude up the street from our shop is selling a trailer. I think he's Dominican, it's probably cheap.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

We have a Hudson bros 3.5 ton trailer with brakes at work, couple years old look brand new, used maybe 10 times, thinking of selling it

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My jeep is relieved of its daily driver dutys. My dad gave me his 97 chevy k1500, 5.7, auto 4wd. Ill also use it to tow the jeep. Not the biggest, most badass tow rig, but its better then nothing.

I knew it was 04.5-07, but I didnt know if LBZ's got non towing mirrors or not.

I wouldnt really have to worry about weight stations or anything. If I got a dually, probably the first mod would be a SRW conversion. This particular truck has 4.10's (not my favorite), so a set of H2 takeoffs would be perfect. Its hard to find RCLB's, this one also has alot of nice upgrades done to it and its getting a fresh tranny rebuild cause 5th just fell off. I could probably sell off some of the go fast parts and make some of my money back too. Its hard to find decent manual 12v's around here, gotta take what I can find.
