Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i like how threads magically dissapear from mod tech on occasion

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I thought it would be an ankle monitoring device

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just got most of the dodge pulled apart, only a little more and I can lift the cab off. I don't think people who like wirenuts that much should be allowed to touch automotive electrical systems. The brake controller, hitch wiring, and plow were done entirely with them plus badly-done crimp terminals in a few spots.

Ross, you know anyone who wants this plow? I only have to cut the frame now to completely disconnect it from the truck.

Edit: travis you too - forgot you mentioned it, will take pics now since its light out still

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Travis was the one who said he might know somebody who wants it. I was just hoping to have a truck to put it on by the time you had it ready.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh. Well, its nearly ready, hurry up and buy a truck :laugh2:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I went looking for that used brick pile I told you about... it looks like they already hauled it off, I couldn't see it anywhere. There's a much smaller pile that I might ask about.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I cant seem to make ujoints in the rear driveshaft live more than a week. Hasnt ever done this until recently. This last one went in a week ago. Im going to have to measure my angles tomorrow at work.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

1. buy new ujoint straps
2. make sure they are properly tightened
3. there was a change in the early to mid 90s, the yoke is 1/4" longer or shorter, forget which, nothing to do with the motor, just the year
4. probably ujoint angles + old straps or improper torque. Driveshaft vibes kill em in a hurry too due to the cyclical torque / unloading and overloading.
