THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Speaking of awesome supply houses, I just went to Triple D (or is it Three D? I forget) Industrial Hardware in Southbridge again. Asked for an odd size of DOM - 7/8" OD, 0.120 wall. They didn't have it, but they gave me 21" of 3/4" OD, 0.05" wall for free, and sold me a 1" twist drill marked as $30 for $25 even though I was willing to pay full price or even more, that's a $45 drill on McMaster.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Last time, they sold me another odd size of DOM for what I consider a good price ($18 for 4' of 1" OD 3/8" wall) and called a bazillion hardware stores for free to find one stocking the oddball helicoil kit I needed. Every time I go their prices are reasonable and they go well beyond what I'd expect in terms of service.

Thousand dollar question - would anyone here trust 0.05" wall DOM for leaf spring bushing center sleeves? I'm not sure I would. It's either use this stuff or the 1" OD 3/8" wall I bought a while ago and drill the inside out to fit a 5/8" bolt, which will result in 3/16" walls and not much bushing material (at least on the shackle end), not sure which way I should go. I'm leaning toward the latter even though it's more of a pain in the ass and uses materials I actually had to pay for.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

www.speedymetals.com is awesome.

Just got my adapter materials delivered. 3" of 5" solid round steel, and 12" x 18" x 1.25" aluminum.

No minimum order (you can just buy an inch of something if you needed to), pretty much any size or section you can think of, and pretty reasonable pricing. I can't imagine what their inventory looks like. And the stuff is always packed really well too. Definitely a top-notch place to deal with.

ive used them in the past as well.

no complaints at all.

also used www.allmetalsinc.com

I used them for a odd stuff in the past as well. Very pleased.
Call them and tell them your shipping to a business and the cost goes down a little as well.
I second this! I use them when I need rare sizes/pieces for shop projects. Great place to deal with and they are very quick to process orders.
Whoa, I forget other people read this.
Welcome to the forum and thanks for supporting!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I like when that happens while Carmelo is hijacking your account and responds in kind. Because I know it's happening at a certain jeep parts store.
