Yup. Yesterday morning I decided to quit whining and start GSDing as much as I could on this project, learning as much as I can, whatever. Talked to my boss, let him know what my concerns were, how we could make things better for me and training and the project, etc. Cool, maybe I could make this work. Maybe it'll work out. Yesterday afternoon I stared at two design docs from CA from 1 to 430 bc the other admin (whos in ohio) was busy talking to people and couldn't think of anything else for me to do.

This morning, the same guy is working from home but he has a task for me that his/our boss wants done (unrelated to the project, but whatever, its something to do) so I go ahead and make the changes, and send an email out to the helpdesk team letting them know what I did. I start getting emails and calls from all over the place asking me why I did this, why I did that, for what reason this, I didn't explain this enough that, I need to give notice 2 days before, immediately before, and a immediately after I make this change to these people explaining this reason... :gonnablow

nothing ever gets XXXXing done here. i take initiative, it gets shot down. i don't take initiative, i'm not showing any enthusiasm for the position (that i was supposed to get almost a year ago now..)

this place XXXXing blows ass chunks.

The IT guys have been working on my machine for the last two hours and seem to be encountering an unsettlingly large amount of problems.

I should probably just take tomorrow off.

The IT guy here is posting to some random thread on some bullshit jeep club forum and is probably gonna go weld the rest of the new crossmember for his MJ together shortly, what a slacker

Also the number of friends trying to hire me is now up to 5. And the latest is a work from home reverse engineering and embedded systems job, so I will probably take it as soon as I have the room I am working on right now finished. Shouldn't take much longer, I am tearing the old floorboards up today, already 1/4 done.

just a warning, do not order from factorychryslerparts(dot)com. they list parts, a price, and make them seem available...they take your money, then a few days later inform you it's not available / discontinued, and then issue you a refund after many days.

WHY do freaking websites list parts, have prices, let you buy them, if they've NEVER had them in stock, sold them, and aren't even available?!

I 'bought' something on ebay a few months back that wasn't available anywhere...simple little part, that I really needed, they took my paypal, but a few days later informed me 'sorry those are discontinued'. I said to the guy "don't list parts on an auction site if you don't physically have them". /rant

actually they don't do that. They list the parts and a price and make them seem available, let you order them and take your money, and then fail to ship them, ignore their phone, ignore their email, and basically flat out ignore you until you take the matter up with your bank.
