My jeep is race ready RIGHT NOW

And I just swapped the blown shocks from king of the underground for a new set 15 minutes ago. Ill bring them as spares this time so I can run a practice loop, put new shocks on, then run the timed loop.

In that prothane topic they run a 2" at gap. If I run a 1.25" air gap I'll only use four sections of it each side. Now I just need to figure out how tall of a solid bumpstop I need.

I gotta get some uhmw rod, I didn't think I could but I compressed them enough to rub my shocks hose with my tire.

They are wayyy harder foam than I thought they were. I think I can make them work without them taking a dump like they did for Sam. If not I'll still have another one I can toss in there while I figure out how to put s-10 blazer rear bumps in the coil.

i didn't say it wasn't death. it definitely is. i've got no desire to ride something so shitty. why would they slap on the suspension of two of the shittiest-suspensioned quads evar? blaster and raptor. :shudder:

1.5" DOM fits inside perfectly and shouldn't fall out. I'll cut a round striker plate slightly smaller than the O.D. of the prothanes and weld that to the one end of the DOM. Then I also bought some of these to attach to the other end of the DOM after cutting it to my solid bump length. Then that DOM striker bump stop thing will sit inside of the prothane and then float inside the coil.

so they didnt have to chop apart a perfectly good quad with a good suspension. duh, economics son.
