oh :doh: yeah, that would be somewhat of an issue. I never even knew you could use starting fluid on a diesel.

You can use it, its just easy to destroy the engine. A lot of heavy equipment and some trucks have built in ether injection.

Old Komatsu's have ether injection instead of glowplugs. I've never had problems using it sparingly on a diesel.
