When I get started fabricating on the new rig, I'm gonna follow Vanimal's lead and start a new thread for every part that I make.

Make sure you prefix every post with "note from DJ" and use absolutely no formatting aside from long strings of random punctuation as separator lines, too

so, buying tires online? the qoutes im getting for tires are ridiculous.. cheapest for STTs is 385 mounted/balanced, 404 for MTZs.

Gotta pay to play.

Why do you think I bought (4) 40" MTRs for $1000. Not my first choice of tire at all, but they were cheap and get me wheeling.

If I can get these to last me another season of wheeling, I'll probably buy Creepies next year with my tax return money or something.

$1600 for (4) 37s is a lot to swallow. Have you checked on Pirate at all yet?

Sometimes you can score used tires for cheap that aren't that bad.

i'm sure i could. i'm gonna call the guy back in a bit and see how much 35s are, if theyre like 100 bucks cheaper a tire i'll probably go that route. the jeep looks good on 35s right now, and theyre basically bald, and i wont ever have to worry about the 44 on 35s.

35s means you are allowed to use more skinny pedal and less unsprung weight and less rotating mass= go fastuh

i mean honestly, after watching your rig on 35s do everything cross country, that was the setup i was after. hell 33s were good enough 90% of the time.

I am holding the dowel pins for my 5.2/3500 setup.

Time to clean house at the chinese buffet and bolt some shit together.

And the pile of shingles is going away today, too. Its gonna look real weird without all this shit sitting around.

i just picked up a decent set if 35 12.50 15 baja claws. If someone didnt steal my 33 boggers id still be running them :-(
