THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so the clunk in my front end wasnt the steering box, i got under there while my buddy turned the wheel and i noticed my rockkrawler heim was moving. no big, ill get another one under warranty. pull it out, its fine. put it back in, threw a washer on both sides (there was only one on one side before) tightened it up good, no more clunk. i love how things work out sometimes. i threw a different PS resi cap on for shits and giggles and drove over to the school to make some circles and see if the PS still whined.. it did, same as before. got it heated up REAL good until fluid starting dripping out more steadily and its leaking between the resi and the pump, fluid doesnt look like its aerating. so im gonna swap in the one that was originally on the truck with the old resi and make sure the seal is good.

AND I TOTALLY COULD FIT AN ALLEN HEAD BOLT AND ALLEN WRENCH IN THERE. FFFFFUUUU GUYS. i bought a regular bolt tho.

getting close.

tell me how the allen bolt works out when you have to remove them and all of a sudden you have a bolt with a round hole in the middle

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

agreed.

If you want to use stupid fasteners on something, go all the way and put external torx on it. I think some E7s would look great on a driveshaft yoke.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Velcro, the original quick disconnect

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yup.

That's why I run stock LCAs :gee:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Throttle position sensors are gay, you can't even clean them.
I am sure brakleen will solve this problem

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Spent my day watching these guys work:
WellDrilling.jpg

Two guys, knew they stuff, polite, and very efficient. If anyone needs drilling, these are the folks to call. Well went better than I could have asked for and we hit great water at a decently shallow depth. Very happy.
Edit: Oh, the engine running the drill truck was consuming 36 gallons (yes, no typo 36) an hour of diesel fuel.

They're sealed, so you can clean the connector but on the inside all there is is the stupid thing that gets turned by the throttle shaft. Everything behind it is sealed. I sprayed everything anyway and cleaned my throttle body, still has hesitation and getting worse. Now I have to actually test it, which would have actually taken less time.

more brakleen

brakleen is like high explosives, if the problem is not solved you are simply not using enough

Pfft, dude, if you really think I said to myself "well it's all sealed up nothing I can do" you are mistaken. I gave it a XXXXing bath in brakleen anyway. So it either didn't work or I have a different problem, both are likely.
