oh I intend to, if the damage report doesn't get me what I want, a goddamn taillight.

The guy was claiming it was impossible that he broke my shit because the bumper was behind it, and I noted that the side of the bulb was broken out. I'm pretty sure they just suck at driving standards. Then they banned me from ever parking there again... like I was going to... and acted like they could order a new one from the dealer for 50 bucks.

LOL, an MJ taillight from the dealer? for 50 bucks?

oh, and it was the parking garage on south williams street in manhattan. Never again, XXXX those fudgepackers.

Ken I still have those MJ taillights you gave me (2 sets).

You can have them back whenever you want to pickup the NV4500 bellhousing shit.

that would be awesome. That being said, the point of this is that they owe me a taillight, especially because they tried to deny it and were dicks about it. I could have ten sitting in front of me and I'd still go after them for it, XXXX them.

I am not sure when I'll be out your way, but I should have some free time after around the first weekend of March. I still have that cargo cover for your bro too.

I couldn't agree more. This just reinforces my intense dislike of this entire arrangement, and makes me glad I probably won't be down here in 11 more workdays.

You could always meet me after work one day.

Or hell, I might be meeting up with Billy before the run on the 19th to dump off the drivetrain. If you want to meet up too I could always just bring it then?

have you ever tried parking in manhattan? valet parking is literally the only thing you can get unless you want 8327932804 parking tickets or show up at 4am.

The funny part of this is that my company has spent way more than the MJ is worth parking it there. Hell the next two days of parking would have covered the amount I told them they owed me for the taillight and the guy gave me a massive amount of shit about it. It would have been in their interest to just buy a new damn taillight on ebay, but the guy literally flipped me off and told me they couldn't do that when I suggested it, then told me he would order one for 50 bucks from the dealer.

i took a picture of my odometer when i parked my subie in the city once for a school thing. i drove one of my profs down (so he could drink) and he didnt get why i flipped a shit on him when i said i was NOT parking in a garage. ended up doing it anyway bc we were late and EVERY tard then ran out of wherever they were hiding when they heard it pull up.

and i HATE valet parking. with a fiery passion.

I'll be wheelin with Billy on the 19th, so if you want that would work great. As for meeting after work one day... wellllll... if you want to drive to manhattan, sure :laugh2:

The 29th is my last day of being down here 5 days a week, then I fly to the midwest for WinterFest (I decided to say the hell with it and take a bit of vacation, I haven't had a real vacation in forever) and get back midway through the next week. After that I'll either be happily unemployed or working from home a few days a week and can meet you whenever.

Yup I can bring them on the 19th. I'm just trying to figure out if an engine hoist can get the drivetrain up into the back of my truck :laugh:

An engine hoist can get a full drivetrain into the back of MY truck, mine is clearly better than yours :spin1:

Anyone remember when I bought the mud truck to get my axles for the full widths? I've had these tires for seven years that were on that truck. I've tried many times on cl to sell them. Tax season must be the right time cause people are tripping over them to buy...

I'm very much looking forward to bacon wrapped hot dogs and avacado fries for dinner tonight.

We have a chainfall in our garage so that's the way we've normally put engines in the back of vehicles.

Never done it with an engine hoist but I'd imagine it should.

I don't remember how high they go. One of the tools I should probably just buy soon.

The only thing I dislike about the new JCR slider is how it mounts to the unibody rail.

That flat plate (which is probably 3/16") just seems like a week area. Maybe better with angle iron welded on the backside of it for reinforcement.
