no im not. my truss is welded everywere it touched and its cracked all around the center.

Whatever I have welded to the center sections is holding up.

Though I don't jump it.

A manual would be SWEET in that truck. There was a beautiful LBZ manual on ebay not too long ago. Did the LLY's get the Allison 5 or 6 speed? I know earlier trucks were the 5 and later ones the 6, what was the changeover year?

slap some more metal on it.

the lower bolt hole didnt last a year anyway. idk if id want to take the effort to making a new hole anyway. and id have to get a new diff cover or add some metal to mine anyway.

it will probably last one more wheeling season anyway

anyone know the minimum you can get away with when replacing lifters on a 4.0? do you neeeeed to do valves/springs/lifters/timing chain?

And I've deadlifted a 440 block from the ground into the back of my truck. (easily 200+ lbs).

Scott what makes u think your motor is junk? You are aware that high milage 4.0's make a good bit of valvetrain noise
