THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If you don't get the p-pump one, we're all going to make fun of you.

im just sold on the p-pump because the one in my j10 has a million miles on it, with the stock j10 steering box and i can turn the 35's with my tongue.

my xj with a new wj pump and new durango box, 35's with the same pitman arm, inverted t steering, and same front dana 44 i cant turn with my tonque, i need a whole hand.

It is really inconvenient having two of your bosses's offices look directly into your cube, with a clear line to your computer screens.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Relief Pressure +/- 50 = 1900 psi

Flow Rate (GPM) = 1100 RPM 2.4-2.8 GPM Minium @ 200 psi

so a lot more pressure, but same flow rate = not so much of an improvement in steering powa.

this makes me want to get the p pump.

I have a more powerful pump and a different box, steering is weak.

ROBZ95Xj,
I'm not red enough to post in your build thread in advanced fab... So I'll post here where maybe you'll find it.
What front 60 did you use, the 88ish Ford?
I didn't see it anywhere, but did you re-work the body side coil buckets up front? Or did you get the axle mounts tight enough to the pumpkin to not need to do that?
Thanks,
Ben

Edit:

dude, if it increases your size then i think its a risk worth taking.

How the hell did you twist the square drive off of it? I've laid into the 1/2" and 3/8" drive with all I had multiple times. You must not have been fully engaged into the socket?
I was hauling on it pretty good trying to get a spring eye bolt out and it just... broke. I upgraded to craftsman after that.

I've shredded the ratchet pawls in Husky ratchets, but never broke anything else on them. I broke one of my craftsman teardrops when I got pissed off and used it as a hammer - the direction lever broke off, it would still work, just couldn't change direction ever. Walmart (gotta expect shitty tools when you pay $4.88 for an entire 3/8 ratchet and socket set...) and HF ratchets are the only ones I've actually broken that badly.

stop defending your shitty tools. you sound just like the iron rock longarm fanboys right now
ohhhh snap :laugh2:

Ken you interested in something like this?

http://neow.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=104775

I remember you talking about a small block swap. With that and my bellhousing you're only into it for $450. You'd just need an NV4500 and t-case at that point.
Considering it. I already have a 5.2, ECU, most of a harness, and all accessories (I bought it as a 5.9, it turned out to be a 5.2 when I looked up the part numbers, the seller gave me back some of my money) out of a dodge 1500. I'm really looking for the 5.9 / 5spd factory combo to avoid having to fool the ECU into thinking it has a transmission so the CEL goes out, but if I have to I'll do that, just need to learn about chrysler automatics before I try.

That would be awesome and simple. Ken won't do it for those exact reasons.
not simple for the reasons I gave above, auto vs manual. But I'm still probably going to.

I wonder how the factory exhaust manifolds on the ZJ 5.9 compare to the ones on the ram 5.9/5.2? Need to look into that further, if the ZJ 5.9 manifolds are designed to fit in a smaller unibody it may mean less expensive exhaust / fewer mods to the frame.

dude, mad potholes.
I had more tire/fender rubbing bombing down the FDR last night than I did in King of the Underground. Probably because I was doing 70+.

Rob and I both used the later model kingpin Ford, link to my thread in my sig.

I didn't change the upper coil seats. Works fine. I think each lower coil mount is 1" outboard from the top mount.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
