THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ya, he even said he would let me pay for it, then punch me and take it for free

I can't wait until 10:30 tomorrow. Picking up my new car.
I dread 12:00 tomorrow. Crashing my new car.

 That would be quicker than I crashed my car :(

Just finished the wiring for the passenger side seat (which included figuring out what went where). Now I just get to match everything over to the drivers seat and solder those connectors up.

Hoping everything works because a few of the motors were running SUPER weak but I was also running it off a very low power 12V supply so I'm not sure I was driving enough current to run the seat motors.

Picking up the tranny tomorrow morning, installing clutch/trans tomorrow/Sunday, then hopefully finishing the seats and/or going shooting on Sunday/Monday.

Can't wait for my Jeep to be more comfortable than the Mustang :laugh3: That and can't wait for the Jeep to stop making terrible noises while driving.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

how do you know everything is still attached if it's not making terrible noises while driving?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ummm... these terrible noises are the kind that tell me "you should probably reconsider making that 30 mile drive", especially when I've been dealing with them for the past 5-10k miles.

Once that is sorted out, I get a carpet in, and get the door hinges fixed so the doors actually seal and don't vent cold air directly into the cabin I might start DD'ing the Jeep again and make the mustang a low-mileage vehicle. Haven't decided yet. Both are too much fun to drive :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Talked to a dude with 2 36x12.5x16.5 tsl/sxs. He wanted $50 after I talked him down from $100. I told him I would only pay $30, didn't hear back from him. He sent me pic of them and they're down to the wear bars. That's no more than $30 worth of tire, right?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I might txt him back tomorrow or sunday and offer him $40

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

sounds fair for tires in that shape

tomorow im gonna attempt to run all my brake lines, debating on getting pre flared ones or doing it myself, if i do them myself i have to get all the tools and deal with that shit

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

XXXX that, they're down to the wear bars? He should be paying you 20 bucks in tire disposal fees to take them off his hands.

Rob, I always get preflared and put the single line I have to cut to the right length / put custom fittings on (usually the prop valve or MC end) as far away from road salt as I can. I figure that way I can just bend up and swap in another of the same stock length next time it blows.

On my way to work bitches!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ugh. had a few drinks last night and this is the worst hangover I've ever had. Never drinking again while on this low carb diet.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just got home and went to show my roommates my car, and no lie something just broke. Cursed.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Wait. On your new car? You're kidding, right?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

maybe I am a tard but I can't find anywhere to buy sherwin williams ultra 7000 by color online. This is probably something I should simply go to a real store for.

Between the color codes, sales numbers, unique formula numbers, flop spec, face spec, and order codes I am about ready to throw a credit card at someone and tell them to figure this shit out. Holy crap.

edit: Doug, with or without the carrier and master install kit? I got my 4.10s for $256 with R&P, MIK, and carrier, shipped.
