THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

And screw Adobe reader. I had a problem printing to our main printer since I have a 64bit machine, and because of that I'm not mapped our other printers. So I asked IT to do something about it, they installed the lastest version of Reader X, and I can finally hit print without crashing Adobe every time. Sweet! Except now that whenever I go to open PDF's if I haven't opened one in few minutes, it will hang and not open for 2-5 minutes, depending on file size. Annoying as hell, its a known bug I've found by googling it, and IT can't fix it.

whats probably more annoying is that the old dogs who are higher up in the IT wont give anyone who you can contact directly the rights to install or fix the problem on the machine. why not map the printer? start>run> enter the server name the printer is on and connect (this is assuming youre on a windows server).

welcome to my life every effing day. once i find something better i'm out of here.
It boggles me to think you guys actually get laid. :wow:

Hey Colin.

Just completed spec'ing out (and got the order for) a new project for Chrysler...expanding the 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi production lines at the Saltillo, MX plant. :D

Whose trailer is wide enough?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Probably with Tim's seats is they won't sit low enough in an XJ for someone that's tall.

I could barely get my normal width TS seats down low enough to give me enough headroom in my MJ (which has a higher roofline than an XJ).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just made a junk run to the scrap yard. There was a pile of just HP60's sitting there. I wanted to make an offer on the whole lot.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my boss literally has been micromanaging the shit out of another guy here since 8 this morning on making a goddamn PDF to distribute to a few manager. one page, 5 drop down menus, a few user fillable fields. i showed the guy how to make them (god forbid the kid with a design background works with an adobe product!) and he picked it up fine, he's way smarter than me when it comes to scripting and whatever, but really?? i could make one of these from scratch in 45 minutes. its been 7 hours.

So I popped my hood to look at the turbo in the daylight.

The band clamp in the middle of it:

is busted. Likely part of the problem...I don't know enough about how these go together to know what's going on in there. Although I imagine that might cause alignment issues between the housing halves, exhaust leak, oiling problems, that kinda stuff?
