THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Where are these 'professionally rebuilt' ones to be found?

Also, I guess I can change my sig again. The relevant person won't be reading it for the next 60ish days.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

With the exception of three people in this thread, besides myself, I have to laugh at how badly you guys misunderstand what goes on at Line Mountain. You really just have to see it. An XJ on 1-tons offers no advantage whatsoever in that race...actually, it's probably just about the worst combination of stuff you could want to run there. Big full station wagon body, wide axles, poor weight distribution...stock beater XJ's regularly do better there honestly.

So what you're saying is I should buy a 200 dollar beater xj, weld the diffs, put a foam cooler of beer and my hammock in the back, slap temp plates on it, and plan on riding home in someone elses truck?

Also needs a cage and you're gonna want tires that will hold up...but otherwise, yeah.

Not saying that'll be competitive by any stretch. But it won't be much worse than a bigger XJ either.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thank you for being extraordinarily helpful and informative this morning.
Only this morning?
I'm here all week
Ya, this is more like it.

And screw Adobe reader. I had a problem printing to our main printer since I have a 64bit machine, and because of that I'm not mapped our other printers. So I asked IT to do something about it, they installed the lastest version of Reader X, and I can finally hit print without crashing Adobe every time. Sweet! Except now that whenever I go to open PDF's if I haven't opened one in few minutes, it will hang and not open for 2-5 minutes, depending on file size. Annoying as hell, its a known bug I've found by googling it, and IT can't fix it.

I'm eating pre-made popcorn, drinking coffee for breakfast, and listening to foo fighters and RHCP. Gonna be a good day, Tater.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So Lucas Murphy is selling a 26x19 crossflow griffin radiator with Spal Fans for $300. Only has 2 runs on it.

I think I might get that just because it's a really good deal.

whats probably more annoying is that the old dogs who are higher up in the IT wont give anyone who you can contact directly the rights to install or fix the problem on the machine. why not map the printer? start>run> enter the server name the printer is on and connect (this is assuming youre on a windows server).

welcome to my life every effing day. once i find something better i'm out of here.
