THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I remember this one time I was taking a Dana 30 out of some gay kids Jeep and it fell on my foot from 5 feet up.

Yeah, that was like 5 minutes ago...

pics of damage or it didnt happen...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Adam, remember you were telling me they make high flow in-tank replacement pumps (like Mustang guys use)?

Found one for my Jeep from Walbro for $85. 255lph. That's plenty.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Do you want a picture of a scuffed up boot?

oh i thought it would be worse... you said from 5 feet up... maybe if the boot split or somethin, i dunno...

Nah, I had my steel toes on. It pivoted off of my transmission jack and swung down and smashed the top of my boot toes. If I wasn't wearing good boots I'd probably be going to see Lobster in the ER right now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Not to clutter up the other thread, but just curious.
I've picked up really short drops of random sizes for cheap money.
Colin, did you start saying this because Ross says this?

Not saying anyone is wrong or anything, its just Ross is the only person I've heard call a length of tubing a "drop."

That's actually what they're called.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Like I said, I wasn't saying Ross is an idiot, was wondering if Colin heard it from someone else, or just Ross. He was the only person I've heard call them that, including the metal suppliers I've dealt with, or from the other engineers I learned a lot of my fabrication skills from.

I even did a google search before I asked and couldn't find more than one instance where someone said "drop of tube."

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's what most people I've dealt with have called scrap or leftover pieces of tube or plate. What would it matter anyway?
