likewise. but the mj is not inspectable and too much of a cop magnet to take more than a couple miles through town :(

I did just run into a guy from Union who claims there are good legit trails down there, need to get more info and investigate legality. If they're legal I kinda want to go wheeling this weekend because I haven't been since rocktoberfest.

seriously. Even the classifieds are sucky 90% of the time. I don't think I've ever used any part of that forum aside from the classifieds sections...

I usually don't give a shit, the only reason I ask is because I need to get a PCM for a TJ from a manual, and right before the site went down the other day some guy posted he was parting out an '02 with a manual.

Other than the classifieds, I don't care at all for neow. I don't know those guys and haven't found anything in other sections entertaining.

I'll hopefully actually be wheeling sooner than later, maybe this weekend. I met a guy the other day who wheels some private property in Middleboro. No clue if it's just mud pits or whatever but he said I should go with them and check it out. I'll definitely go since it's only a 10-15 minute drive from my house, it's the 3 hour drives to go wheeling that kill it for me. :laugh3: Hopefully it's decent but I'm not expecting much.

Yeah, middleboro always seemed like a pretty swampy area to me.

I have dedicated today to cleaning up the yard, doing some plumbing insulation and demo work, and exploring the southbridge area using google maps and a jeep. Haven't left pavement yet, all the things that look like roads have turned out to be fiber optic right of ways, powerlines, posted, or super sketchy looking. Think I will walk the Southern New England Railroad right of way later tonight, much of it is still cleared and some still has rails.

Edit: sheep it still has a bad head gasket :( I wont trust it more than 30min from home till I have gone over that motor pretty thoroughly.

The guy made it sound like the Middleboro land had some good/tough trails but I'll wait and see. I know the guy has a mud truck and a "trail" Jeep and from the sounds of it this land was for his trail Jeep... but I'm not sure if the body damage he was talking about getting was due to difficult trails or due to his stupidity.
