THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Remington is where its at. I love my 870 express magnum, and my dad's 1100.

I don't like how the release is in front of the trigger guard on the 870s. Aside from that the only reason I like the mossbergs better is they're cheaper. Both are dead reliable and will work all the time, everytime, forever. 1100s are nice :)

Actually, out of all my guns, I probably shoot the mossberg the best and the most comfortably. It just fits me really well I guess, I dunno. I <3 it though :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ya, I've never actually shot a mossberg that I can remember. I grew up on the 870 and an Ithica (really nice gun too). The 870 I have actually has a shorter stock and barrel, and I like it because that.

It is really weird shooting my dad's 1100 after I shoot another shotgun. I the damped recoil is a weird feeling, I always overcompensate for the kick when there isn't much, and I always want to pump it the first two shots. After that, it is a really smooth gun.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Shotgun's probably the next purchase after a handgun or two (or 3, depending what I find for CC vs full size vs .22) so I'll probably be bugging you for recommendations on those in a couple months. :laugh3:

I think I've added the Kahr PM9 and a couple glocks (19 & 26) to my list of guns to look at before buying something.

Its because it was the first you bought that packs a punch

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

im gonna go look at a bunch of j-truck parts in a bit

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Finished fixing the adapter housing on my dodge today. No more leaks.

Also found a broken exhaust hanger. Fixed that also and put a new steering brace bearing on.

It's like a whole new truck. The old adapter housing had multiple stress fractures on the inside.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so ive decided to upgrade my gun collection. where do you guys find guns/parts online.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sorry no link. Was watching one of the local news stations, either abc or fox, and they were talking about the town meeting on allowing (or not) casinos to be built in Foxboro by the stadium.

Wasnt him, none of us went. We're one of the few people in this town that APPROVE of it. People are retarded and close-minded in this town. Did I mention retarded?

Just looking for a shotgun probably, saw some cheap ones at wal mart, not MADE by wal mart .!.:D.!.

Nothing wrong with them. When I lived in Wyoming, Walmart was the main place to buy guns. Just walk in, point to what you want, wait a few minutes for a quick check on your name, and its yours. I still have a rifle I got there, bought and sold a shotgun too. I forget the brand, but it was one of the fairly main ones I hear these guys say, I think Mossburg or something.

Fixed that also and put a new steering brace bearing on.

Did you find the bearing? Was it an easy/cheap one to get?

1 used adapter housing, 1 welded exhaust hanger, 1 new steering brace bearing=new truck

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ordered two of them through fastenal online. Was only $8 a piece. Not too bad at all.

Made in Chinkyville though. We'll see how long they last.

Where do you think the first one was made probably? It'll last just as long, you got like 50K+ outta it right?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

And you cant make a 870 into this
Mossberg%20500%20Bullpup.jpg

We had 870's last summer at the national jamboree, and in 9 days, we had only minor failures on 2 out of the 20 guns. Then again, those 20 guns did see over 100,000 rounds in 9 days, so any failures can probably be chalked up to being worn out.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

dammit i XXXXed up on the pass shock mount, its clocked 90 degrees off, but i think its gonna work out for the better, gonna drill another hole on the coil tower and weld another bolt to the shock mount that way there will be 2 bolts holding the mount to the unibody, then ill have a bolt off the side for the limiting strap, sounds so easy in my head
