THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Alright, thanks. I heard that about the trigger so I was definitely going to check that out. I found one place with them in stock new for $385 and another shop with a used LC9 for $300... currently deciding if I want the new gun or to save a few $$ and get the used gun (which IIRC comes with a holster as well). Leaning towards used (as long as it's not clearly abused) but we will see.. again, all depends on my work hours.
I payed $389 for mine so yours is a pretty good price. I carry mine in a DeSantis Tuck this 2. It's a cheap IWB holster that doesn't put wear marks on the gun. I also have the option of carrying a spare mag, but it gets heavy.

go grab a stick of pvc and start mocking shit up now
Starting Monday I hope. :yelclap:

Why on earth would you ever set it to email you notifications of posts in the LOPT thread????

You must get hundreds of emails a day.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Part of my order came in today. Still need tubing and frame side UCA mount.

Obligatory NAC size comparison.

my parts collection is getting larger and has some of those in it, I need to start putting it on the truck soon. PS I still want to trade stuff but I am not sure what.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

There's only two things I don't like on it. Long trigger pull and the sights. I painted the sights to make them more visible and I plan on getting the laserlyte for it. But the trigger pull is something I think you just need to get used to. I would definitely suggest dry firing it a few times at the shop if they let you. You'll be surprised with the trigger, its smooth and fairly light but looong. It almost sneaks up on you when it actually fires.

I hate the shit out of that god awful disgusting impossibly long dumpy trigger. Thanks to the trigger that gun sucks.

Thanks again. I gave it some more thought and decided I'd definitely pay the $385 for a new gun... my options are to buy the gun new in the next town over from where I live or buy it used from a shop that is almost an hour out of my way (and I'd probably be fighting traffic). Fawk that.

And thanks for the holster link, will definitely check it out. I was looking at the LC9 since it's small enough that I should be able to pocket carry but I was also planning to look into a IWB holster (but was putting that off until after I bought the gun). If I end up going with an IWB holster rather than pocket carry the size limitation on the gun itself wouldn't be quite so strict and I might look into some slightly larger options.

my suggestion-

find someone to let you shoot their lc9 before you buy it. realize how unfortunate it is that the trigger is SO awful. see that the gun sucks because of it. choose not to buy an lc9.

jus' sayin' :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

They are for the most part the same guns you can get anywhere else.
Take a ride down to the outpost in montville and look around there, Their prices arent bad, and if you aren't sure what you want, whoever is behind the counter will be able to help you better than whatever walmart hired.
What type of gun are you looking for?

Wal-mart doesn't make guns dummy, they only sell them :D

Nothing wrong with buying a gun from Wal-mart.

You can find cheap guns in many stores, not just walmart. In my experience it's just that walmart seemed to carry the less expensive guns... not like you couldn't get those same inexpensive firearms from a gun shop (and probably get better information/service at said gun shop).

I was thinking about doing that and was going to make my decision after holding one and (hopefully) dry firing it at the store. If the trigger pull was iffy I planned to wait until I had a chance to shoot one myself before buying... if I didn't think the trigger pull was that bad I would buy one and take my chances.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just looking for a shotgun probably, saw some cheap ones at wal mart, not MADE by wal mart .!.:D.!.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

<!jack> when the boss is away, its a get-shit-done day!

no joke we have gotten 3 times as much done in the last 2 days as we generally accomplish in an entire week. micromanaging bosses who don't understand the problem or how to solve it = an amazing feeling of freedom when they go on vacation!
