THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Actually less than $150.

More like $120.

I'm talking about UJ and Summit. I counted out 16+ different places I could wheel at. Both have private property that's awesome.

That's not including any other private property that other clubs own or class 6 roads.

Fc is all the reason anyone needs to join a club in my opinion

Quewtion for chris have you ever though of. Looking into 4spd,s out of a older ford car or circle track application, am I the only one to think that less shit=less shit to fail?

Shitty gearing, most of them are 2wd.

To me, it's a tough balance between factory parts (replacements easy to find) durability (to the point of not being beyond overkill) adaptability (no custom splined shafts/adapters) availability (not paying $3k for a transmission/transfer case).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

LI Adam, do you truely believe you have to pay huge member fees to wheel out here?

I could probably wheel a different trail every month (or twice a month) for $150 a year.

Dirt cheap if you ask me.

Pay you're mother XXXXing dues only 25thing to join uj this pending bod approval

Like what, exactly?

Problem is the range of gearing I need...anything without a 1st gear of ~4.00:1 or lower, and/or without an overdrive, and it's gonna be limiting me for either crawling or going fast.

Something like a Muncie M2x would be stout enough and shift OK (I had a M21 close ratio in my 'vette) but they don't exist with a 4x4 tailhousing and the gearing only spans from 2.5:1 to 1.00:1.

There comes a point where something becomes too simple and starts detracting from the whole package instead of adding to it.

I'm having a salad for lunch, but tis legit as its got 2 massive pieces of lamb on top with currie sauce

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

No one got my cake-eater reference?

It's an insult that started in Minnesota. A cake eater is someone that is given everything and has to pay for nothing. Mighty Ducks (filmed in Minnesota) made it famous.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm sure it would be different if I was where you are, it's not a crazy amount though. I won't pay it bc it's a four to six hour drive for me to wheel up there

Um. Isn't it like a 4 hour drive for you to wheel at Rausch anyway? Another hour and you'd be at Fall Crawl and Swanzey, Mabelle is actually under 4 hours (~180 miles), the Backyard maybe 4 hours.

One weekend at Rausch is $15 + $35 + 35 = $85 if you don't want to go anywhere but the main property.

[colin post]

Just found out I have the 23rd and 26th off, as well as the 30th and the 2nd. And I'm taking the 27th-29th off to go to South Carolina that week.

So I have 6 more days of work, then I'm off for 11 days.

[/colin post]

Plus the 3rd is when I get to drive again. :)
