Wow I really can't make up my mind, I'm all over the place with this whole car/Jeep situation.

You know what's even worse? When you find the exact truck you want, decide to buy it and all, and then the third guy in the deal backs out.

New car = new to me, doesn't necessarily mean driven right off the factory floor into my driveway.

Manual trans, has to have cargo space enough that I can put my dive shit in it (I've been able to do this with my dad's 2 door civic coupe, but would prefer a little more room), has to get much better than 12mpg city, more like 20+ at the lowest end. Have to be able to drive it around and park in Boston. Can't be extremely ghey. Mostly ghey is acceptable, but extremely ghey is not.

Do you care about being able to pickup steel/axles/parts etc.?

Not sure if something like a compact pickup truck would also fit the bill?

What do Ford Rangers get for mileage? Or a Tacoma? Those wouldn't be too bad to park in the city.

Hmm, haven't heard of those. I was disapointed when the Challenger's only come in manual if you buy an R/T at base of $30k.

I test drove a manual S cooper with Dundy one day. It was fun, but I hated the lag from the drive by wire. And Colin's uncle(?) Chris(?) and all the shit he gave me.

You get either a VW that works great and doesn't have any problems. Or you get one that has every single thing wrong with it and nothing you do to fix it will work, and as soon as you fix one thing, something else goes. Honestly, which one of those cars am I likely to get, knowing my history?
